Sound Waves

Sound Waves - The sound is something that can be heard by the ear. The sound comes from an object that vibrates. Vibration fluctuates as the pressure that propagate through the air towards all directions. In beam physics sound waves emitted by a sound source is spherical. Sounds include wave mechanics, as it requires a medium to propagate.

Atmospheric pressure fluctuations indicate the presence of knots and waves stomach. Sound waves can not propagate in a vacuum, and therefore he needed the air as a medium in propagation. Velocity of sound in air is  influenced by several factors, including the density of air.Just as light, sound also has some unique properties. Some are of a nature to interfere, to resonate, the dopler effect  and others. The sound also has energy, which may be used for future life.

ABSTRACT

DIRECTIVITY PATTREN OF A CONDENSER MICROPHONE - This study aims to determine the pattern directivity of a condenser microphone at frequency of 500 Hz, 5000 Hz, 10000Hz and 20000 Hz. Frequency of each chosen to represent the low frequency, middle frequency and high frequency of a sound source is captured by a condenser microphone.

Data retrieval is done by using a loudspeaker which is used as a source of sound and microphone as a sensor that captures sound from the loudspeaker. Sound samples taken at a distance of 1 m from the center of the loudspeaker by rotating microphone in place, stative microphone has been equipped with a protractor. The distance between sample point is 10˚, so there are 36 sample points. This research was conducted in a room that was equipped with a silencer.

Polar pattern analysis using microsoft excel software shows a circular pattern at a frequency of 500 Hz and a more directive pattern (focused on several directions) along with the increasing frequency of the sound source. This means that at low frequencies, the microphone has a response similar reception in all directions and at high frequency microphone has a catchment response in a particular direction.

Music development and Sciences

Music development and Sciences
Music development and Sciences

Music development and Sciences - Music is a human component that can deliver on different circumstances. For example, by listening to music, people will be able to make his brain quiet. Music also can improve brain performance eg music Mozart or other classical music that has specific responses to the human nervous system.

But whether people today care about the relationship of music with the science they have learned, in school or in college? Most people do not care about it. Here we just want to explain that music can be attributed to science. We take a small example. Tone, most people know that the tone is a sound that is beautiful and pleasant to hear.

Suppose tone Do, re, mi .... And oddly enough people feel that the tone was not true and they will say "you played the wrong tone." Let's look on the side of knowledge. The tone is a sound that turned out to have a specific frequency. The frequency is also pure without any interference from other frequencies. With the language of science is called prominent frequencies. Improper tone will feel uncomfortable if the ear heard.

That's because the prominent frequencies on the tone is not pure in other words there are some frequency that accompanies frequency with the loudest sound. The reviews we can feel that music and science are very related. We only take on a small part only. Not to mention that music can increase the rate of plant growth. Waw .... it was very interesting. Do plants dancing when listening to music? we are talking about another time. So.
Thank You
