Recording Studio Setup -  Basic information improve the quality of your productions. Remember that the final quality of your music depends on many variables, including your skills with and knowledge of sequencing techniques,  the equipment you use, the software, and the environment (meaning essentially the studio) in which you work. In fact the studio is one of the most important elements
involved in the creative process of composing your music.

 I am not talking just in terms of equipment and machines (which I will discuss in detail in a moment), but also in terms of comfort and ease of use of the working environment, qualities that are essential if you are going to spend many hours composing and sequencing your projects. Your studio should have good illumination, both natural and artificial. If you are going to use electric light as a
main source for illumination, try to avoid lights with dimmer switches, since they are known for causing interference with studio recording equipment. Acoustic isolation and acoustic treatment of the room are also important elements that will help avoid external noises and create well-balanced mixes.

Even though the subject of acoustic isolation and treatment goes beyond the scope of this manual, here are some basic rules to follow when building your studio. First of all try to avoid (if possible) perfectly square or rectangular rooms. These are the most problematic because the parallel walls can create unwanted phasing effects and standing waves. You will soon realize that, unless you build an environment designed specifically to host a studio, most rooms are in fact rectangular. Therefore I recommend the use of absorption panels to reduce excessive reverberation caused by reflective and parallel surfaces, such as flat and smooth walls. 

Absorption panels help reduce excessive reverberation, their main function being to stop the reflection of high frequencies. As a rule of thumb, try to avoid covering your entire studio with absorption panels since this would make your room a very acoustically dry listening environment, which not only would cause hearing fatigue but also would mislead your ears during your final mixes. In order to reduce standing waves, you should use diffusers  on the walls and ceiling of the room. The main purpose of diffusers is to reflect the sound waves at angles that are different (mostly wider) than the original angle of incidence and thereby to limit
the audio artifacts caused by parallel walls.

Recording and Computer Technology - Talking about music and the industry that is and will always develop in parts of the world, we can not escape from the processes that work behind it. Music, will not be up to the our ear without an intermediary record companies that produce their music. Recording industry or home recording, the recording process should require a tool or an instrument to record. In this time period rarely using analog recording. Most of the record companies are now using digital recording system or using a computer device.
With so many companies that produce recordings music with a digital system, the more advanced technology also from companies that produce computer hardware to increasingly make these processes easier and quality recordings. One of the most important in the digital audio recording is the sound card on the PC, the hardware that really determines the quality of the incoming recording product from music equipment. Quality and price also varies, from a low, medium, until the expensive ones. Of course, in accordance with the quality and performance of each.  
Computers and recording process is an unbiased segregated at the moment. Without a computer, the recording process will require time-consuming and difficult, and requires high skills. With digital recording, analog signals from music instrument in changing into a digital signal that can be edited very easily with computer software. But on the other hand, this would ease the process of impact on music players, they feel no need to play with high skills, because all can be easy edited by computer.

Basic techniques Equalizer - One thing is very important in the editing or audio editing music is played frequency techniques. Sometimes the sound that we record is affected by the recording equipment or sensors in the form of a recording microphone. The sound will be heard less harmonious between the treble, bass and middle if we do not do editing before doing the mixing process. This can be done by adjusting the frequency of the equalizer.
Equalizer basically has three channel frequency, low, middle and high. But at this moment in line with technological advances, many of the equalizer which consists of 10, 20 even 30 channel. More and more channel frequency should be set, the better the resulting sound. But it was not easy, because our ears have to be really sensitive to sound that we have processed.
